Yantra India Limited (YIL) is hiring apprentices for their 58th batch in 2024. This is part of the Skill India Mission, and they are looking for both ITI and non-ITI candidates for various trades in Indian Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories.
There are 3883 vacancies: 2498 for ITI and 1385 for non-ITI candidates. You can apply online from October 22nd to November 21st, 2024.
Selected apprentices will receive practical training and a stipend. ITI apprentices will get ₹7000 per month, while non-ITI apprentices will get ₹6000.

Apprentice Educational Qualifications
Non-ITI Candidates:
Must have passed Class X/Matriculation or an equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks and 40% in Mathematics and Science.
ITI Candidates:
Must have passed Class X/Matriculation and completed the relevant trade test from NCVT/SCVT-recognized institutes with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Age Limits
You must be at least 14 years old to apply. If you want to work in a dangerous job, you must be 18 or older. You can’t be older than 35 on November 21, 2024, when applications close. Some people may be able to apply at an older age if they belong to certain groups like SC, ST, OBC, etc., as per government rules.

Apprentice Post-Selection Process
The selection process is based on merit lists prepared separately for ITI and non-ITI candidates.
- For non-ITI candidates, the merit list will be based on the aggregate percentage in Class X.
- For ITI candidates, it will be calculated based on the average percentage of marks in Class X and ITI trade courses.
If two people get the same score, the older one will be chosen. If they’re the same age, the person who passed the exam first will be picked. Only the people we think might be selected will be asked to show their documents and get a medical check-up.
