Tripura GDMO Bharti 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
To apply for the General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) Grade-IV position, you must have an MBBS or higher medical degree as recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. You must have also completed your internship and registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Age Limit
The upper age limit for General/EWS candidates is 40 years as of October 19, 2024. However, there are exceptions to this rule for candidates from reserved categories, as per the relevant rules.
Application Fee
To apply for TPSC General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) positions, you need to pay an application fee. People from the General category need to pay Rs 400. However, people from SC, ST, BPL cardholder groups, and those with disabilities can pay a reduced fee of Rs 350.

TPSC General Duty Medical Officer Selection Process
The TPSC GDMO selection process has two parts. First, there is a written exam worth 85 marks. This exam is in multiple-choice format and is done on an OMR sheet. It lasts two hours. People who do well on the written exam will be invited for an interview or personality assessment worth 15 marks. The final decision about who gets selected is based on the total score from both the written exam and the interview.
