The starting salary for Diploma Trainee (Electrical and Civil) and Junior Officer Trainee (HR and F&A) is between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 117,500. However, during their training period (S0 level), they will receive a stipend of Rs. 24,000 per month. Assistant Trainee (F&A) has a starting salary range of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 85,000 at the W4 level. Their training stipend at the W3 level is Rs. 21,500 per month.

Age Limits
The maximum age limit is 27 years as of 12th November 2024. However, age relaxations apply for reserved categories: 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 300 for Diploma Trainee and Junior Officer Trainee posts, and Rs. 200 for Assistant Trainee (F&A) posts. However, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates don’t have to pay any application fee.

POWERGRID Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process for all jobs includes a computer test. This test has two parts. The first part tests your knowledge about your job. The second part tests your general knowledge, English, math, thinking skills, and awareness of the world.
For some jobs, like Junior Officer Trainee, you will need to take another computer test after the first one. This test is just to see if you can use a computer. It doesn’t affect your final score, but you must pass it to continue.
