Eligibility for National Fellowship for ST Students
M.Phil and Ph.D level: Applicants must have completed their postgraduate studies and should be enrolled in universities within the specified category. They must achieve at least 55% in their final evaluation or grading at the postgraduate level.
Graduate and PG level: ST students who have managed to gain admission, after 10+2 or Graduation, into the recognized establishments and programs sanctioned by the Ministry will qualify for the financial aid provided under this program.
National Tribal Fellowship Scheme Amount
The person who gets the scholarship will get a stipend based on the table. They’ll only get the stipend if they meet the program’s requirements. The Housing Rent Allowance (HRA) for all programs is the same as what the UGC says (8%, 16%, or 24%, depending on the city). People with disabilities will get Rs 2000 as Escort Allowance every month (same as what the UGC says). These amounts are the same as what the UGC sets and can change if the UGC changes its rules.

Documents Required for National Tribal Fellowship
To complete the application process for NFST Scholarship, applicants must provide and upload the following documents on the registration portal:
- Most recent passport-sized photo
- Certificate for ST/PVTG validated by the appropriate authority
- Certificate of 10th grade/Matriculation or equivalent as proof of date of birth
- Divyangjan status certificate from the recognized authority
- Mark sheet of Post-Graduation [Cumulative marks in percentage] or equivalent percentage for CGPA holders
- Certificate of admission/joining for M.Phil/Ph.D/Integrated M.Phil+Ph.D programs from the respective University.
- Admission offers for students who have been accepted into institutes such as IITs, AIIMS, IIMs, and IISERs.
